Pacifica-themed rail shelter project
This project included full project management services, including design, print and installation by GlassMasters. We initially commissioned a designer to produce a generic design that could be applied to rail station shelter glass right across the Auckland Rail Network. The pattern needed to be printed in white only, as this hides any potential scratch tagging or etching most efficiently. The design also needed to fit principals of CPTED specifically not to impede security camera vision. The design that was chosen was the generic “Pacifica’ illustration that was then applied to many of the stations around Auckland greatly reducing the ongoing cost of replacing vandalised film.
