Onehunga Bus Interchange
Auckland Transport completed major works to build a new bus interchange in Onehunga. The shelters were protected with printed anti-graffiti film. The images were the work of creative strategistAmanda Easterbrook . Each of the four shelters told a different story of the fascinating history of Onehunga, and creating a community sense of history. These visual stories told the first woman Mayor originating from Onehunga, to ONehunga being the location of Aucklands first zoo and also the birthplace of Ricky May.
