Safety and Security Film
Safety and Security Window Films are usually used to minimise the risk of injury from broken glass (for instance from damaged glass doors or overhead glazing) or to reduce the likelihood of break-ins through the glass.
Safety and Security Window Films work by bonding an extra-tough added laminate surface that multiplies the strength of the glass, thus reducing the risk of it cracking or shattering. When used as security applications, these window films create a delay of forced entry, which is why hundreds of New Zealand businesses have had Safety and Security Films installed. As well there is an added benefit, in most cases, of reduced insurance premiums. Security and Safety Films can be applied to toughened, annealed, or laminated glass.
